HOLI!

Yesterday was the Festival of Colors at the Krishna Temple. I was so stoked on going. For the last month, "I was like its going to be Awesome!" So the actual color throwing started 5:40, and we were like thats probably the only cool part, so lets just go for that.

We left at five, and it should only take like 15 minutes to get there but NO! it didn't. More Like an hour. Literally. When we actually got in Spanish Fork there was a mass exodus of people covered in the flour stuff. ugh....... But since were only going like 2 mph, this girl asked if we wanted some. so she gave us a handful. We were in keeton's car and hannah started throwing some and then we got a little.......... anyway keeton's car is a miss.

So we finally get there, and there is just a mass of wild BYU Spring Break Goers, it was actually really sweet. The band was cool, even though they said the same words over again. Hema kema llama krishna! or something like that. There was a lot psychedelic dancing and annoying crowd surfers. For the 45 minutes we were there, it was worth it. but NEXT year my mama is packing me a sack lunch and going early. oh yeah the ride pack was just as bad.

I'm Ready.

And today was a day just like any other

"I put on the same clothes I wore yesterday.
When did society decide that we had to change
And wash a tee shirt after every individual use:
If it's not dirty, I'm gonna wear it."

Today I kind of just realized, how many of my friends have left or are leaving on missions. Seriously these past two months a bunch of people have, and a few have returned from their two years. It's amazing how they go to do what they believe in for two years. I'm excited to go.

I went to Ben Buxton's farewell today, i missed his talk because i couldn't find the keys to the car. (my dad accidently took them, so i had to walk to church to get them.) I'm not as good as friends as other but he is a good guy. haha that sounds kind of corny. It was an enjoyable time.

After, for some reason i decided to drive up the canyon to read and to take a nap. By myself. Yep I'm kind of a loser. I drove up to south fork, past vivian's park. i get there and i just kind of lay there and ponder stuff. haha this is so lame. Anyway, ten minutes past and i get a text from dad saying i need to go home because they lost their house key. So I'm like no way. so i drive all the way back to my house and they got in somehow. and for some reason they didn't think to call me before. blah. So i drove to nielsen's grove and i took a nap. For some reason, i love taking naps in random places, my car, the park, like once took a nap in my car during school. It was nice, really was until Sierra came up to the window and started smacking it! i haven't gotten scared like that for a long time. ugh.

Naps are good for you.

Keeton also thinks blogs are for losers. haha but he doesn't know that its opposite, they are for cool people.

Oh Meredith.

Yesterday was an awesome day, it really was. School was the usual and the last day of the term..... which that part wasn't awesome. So after school, i stayed to help set up the spring fling. That went well and I literally sung through the PA system for like an hour after we were done setting up. I was so entertained, but I think all janitors were annoyed.

Anyway, on the way home, I'm driving on state and this guy drives up next to me. He's Like "Yo man! Your car is leaking a lot of water! I'm like Crap! Thanks. Luckily i was almost home. Then all of a sudden my car starts smoking up like Mad! I'm praying that it didn't over heat or something around those lines, just because of Meredith's history.(Meredith is my beloved 1994 Mitsubishi Montero) I know some basics on cars so looked under the hood and nothing really going on. I think one of the hoses were torn and that caused it leak Coolant. I really hope its just that. So she is going to get fixed this week.

So I'm stuck driving the Mexican Bull AkA my Mini Van or my scooter if i get it to start.

Anyway, the Spring Fling was so fun. Not too many people showed up but i think it was successful. All the Proceeds went to the Make A Wish Foundation.  So of course it was a success.

After I went to 7-11 with a couple of friends. You can never go wrong with a Slurpee.

This is my first post.
